The journey of house building has taken Bill Hanlon from framing to truss manufacturing, and from cabinet shop to teacher.

Currently on the staff at Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia, KS, Mr. Hanlon takes his students through the house building process from footings to a finished home.

By combining previously used energy efficient techniques with new ideas and technologies, the homes built by Mr. Hanlon's students prove to be a viable alternative to standard home construction.
